The network of crisis line services is for anyone in B.C. experiencing suicidal thoughts, mental health issues or a substance use disorder.
Our crisis line workers are trained to be empathic, active listeners and partners in problem solving. They use crisis and suicide assessment and intervention methods based on today's best practices.
Two crisis lines offer immediate, 24-hour access to services for anyone in the province considering suicide or those with mental health or substance use disorders.
- 1800SUICIDE is for individuals considering suicide, or for those who are concerned about someone who may be at risk of suicide.
- 310Mental Health Support (310-6789) is a crisis line that provides emotional support, information and resources specific to mental health and substance use disorders.
