Kelowna & District S.H.A.R.E. Society

S.H.A.R.E. Society is a unique, locally-driven, non-denominational, not-for-profit charity dedicated to creating opportunities for self-discovery and learning through our various in-house programs.  It relies on the generosity of the community for quality clothing and household goods that are distributed at no cost to those in need. The S.H.A.R.E. thrift store offers employment opportunities to people with diverse abilities; it also assists those with barriers to employment by providing a safe and supportive environment in which to address their challenges. Although prices in the store are intentionally kept low to allow those on severely limited incomes to purchase items that they need, the Society also offers ‘work-exchange’ opportunities. S.H.A.R.E. has always been and will continue to develop community partnerships and collaborations, to remain aware and to adapt what we do to better meet the ever-changing needs of our community and its diverse challenges.
