S.H.A.R.E. - Adopt a Family (AFHP) Holiday Hamper Program

S.H.A.R.E.'s holiday hamper program runs from October to January, accepting registrations from October 1 to November 30 each year. The program relies on community sponsors for donations of time and money in creating hampers of food, gifts and gift cards that are distributed to low income families and individuals. Hampers are made ready for delivery or pickup a few days before Christmas. Because seeing the faces of those you help and making a personal connection with them is in itself a reward, sponsors who are paired with a household are encouraged to deliver their hampers directly to them. Due to the exceptional generosity of our sponsors, S.H.A.R.E. also uses donations to assist the homeless during this time of year. 'Stocking trees' are prepared with gift cards and delivered to shelters and other front line organizations for distribution.
