ESNL - Sledge Hockey

Sledge hockey is Canada’s game of hockey played by people with disabilities using ice sledges and two shortened sticks with ice picks on the stick’s butt end. Players propel themselves across the ice using the sticks while also stick handling.

Easter Seals runs a weekly sledge hockey program for players of all abilities and skill levels at the Town of Paradise Double Ice Surface. Easter Seals loans the needed equipment including sledges, sticks, a helmet, and jersey.

Easter Seals Sledge Hockey program provides an opportunity for our participants to grow up playing a game so many love similar to many of their classmates and siblings!
