Kathy Archer founded Mountain Kidz Klub in 1999. Over the years we have provided many services in the community, most notably our Easter Egg Hunt and Pumpkinfest events. The services provided over the years have changed but have included movie nights, breakfast programs, food bank services, gardening programs, cooking classes, sewing classes, clothes closet, Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas breakfast, ladies yoga and Halloween parties. We have achieved all this through community donations and volunteers in our community.
Kathy, how has been a professional clown and school bus driver during her career saw a lack of programs and services that targeted the Hamilton Mountain. She was inspired to do more to help the children and families in our community and saw Mountain Kidz Klub as the answer.
