Applewood is a unique daytime destination and registered charity in Mississauga for young men and women with special needs, who are excited by their prospects to learn, grow and lead more meaningful lives. As participating families will attest, Applewood provides an essential social service to clients and in turn, to their families. For clients to return to their families at dayʼs end, relaxed, happy and satisfied, goes a long way to helping families manage the extraordinary demands of having a young adult with special needs at home, thereby contributing to the familiesʼ overall well-being.
