Wakaigin Housing

Wakaigin Housing offers a safe place for women to live that require safe accommodations. Our goal is to provide housing and supportive care to help women get through their crisis and ensure they have a safe environment to live free from violence. Beendigen has 14 transitional and 12 permanent housing units throughout the city of Thunder Bay. The rent is geared to the income of the individual and each unit comes equipped with a fridge and stove. Supportive services are provided to families in our transitional units by our outreach worker, and tenants are also able to access programming and services offered by Beendigen.
