International Women of Saskatoon (IWS)

International Women of Saskatoon is a community based organization that works independently and in collaborative partnership with other service providing agencies to provide free programs and services to immigrants and refugees. Residing in the Saskatoon area. In doing our work, we receive financial support from the three levels of government and private donors. Each year, we also rely on our volunteer capacity, a minimum of 50 active volunteers, to support our efforts to provide uniquely designed settlement/integration & other enabling supports to our diverse client base namely: adult learners in our EAL and work readiness programs, children & youth in our summer engagement and leadership programs, social & recreational programs for seniors, computer literacy program for adults, settlement for adults and community capacity building initiatives through cultural & Educational events.
