Provides public library service to the City of Grande Prairie and region.


Various resources and information available for helping with different needs, such as:

Free Wi-Fi and public computer access. Wi-Fi is available 24/7.

Climate controlled building: Warm place to be on cold days and in poor weather, air conditioned in the summer.

Naloxone kits are available on site.

AED (automated external defibrillator) on site.


Project Full Stop is an ongoing initiative at the library to combat Period Poverty. Free period products in all GPPL washrooms.


Working/doing school from home due to the pandemic? Wi-Fi hubs and Chromebooks are available through our Library of Things!
